Prepaid phone rentals are convenient & affordable.

Some highlights of our service:

  1. ★ No daily rate — rent for just ¥4,900 (for 1~2 weeks) or ¥6,900 (for 3~4 weeks).

  2. ★ No mark-up on calling charges. Calls are billed in 6-second increments at local rates (¥100/minute)  

  3. ★ No charges for any incoming calls. This includes calls from overseas.

  4. ★ No airport pick-up fees.

  5. ★ No mandatory “insurance” or other extra charges. (We take a small deposit, but it is fully refundable.)

  6. ★ No credit card preauthorization required to book or pay for the rental.

We use PayPal for secure payment processing. We don’t even see your payment details.

And they’re cheap, too. Our industry-leading rates get you started for as little as ¥4,900 for up to 2 weeks. Just add your choice of prepaid talk time cards which can be used for both local and international calls. You can purchase more cards at any convenience store in Japan!

        The fine print:


  1. • Prepaid phone rental rates are ¥4,900 for up to 14 days, and ¥6,900 for 15-30 days. Any period exceeding that will be billed at ¥6,900/month.

  2. • We will take a fully refundable ¥5,000 deposit at the time of booking. This will be returned to you via PayPal upon return of the phone.

  3. • We only accept online bookings. We cannot take walk-in orders at our counter in Narita Airport.

  4. • We cannot guarantee that your phone will be the same one as shown above, but it will be an equivalent phone with English menus.

  5. • All incoming calls, including international calls, are free. Outgoing domestic calls cost ¥10 per 6 seconds. You will only be able to make calls as long as you have minutes in the phone.

  6. • International dialing is charged at different rates. Please see our rate page for sample charges.

  7. • Any unused prepaid talk-time cannot be refunded.

  8. • SMS, e-mail, and other services are not available. C-mail, an AU-only texting service is charged at ¥5 per message.
